Nest Pendant 14k Golden Eggs

Made out of Sterling Silver with 14k Yellow Golden Eggs, this Nest Pendant was inspired by the Original Nest Ring I made in my third year of college. At that time, I recently had to re-home birds my family had. We had so many generations of love-birds and budgies throughout my life when I was growing up. These three eggs were specifically inspired by the last babies we had. Their names were Mark, Luna, and Judith. I loved them so much, I will be forever grateful to know them and their personalities.

As the very first Nest Ring was born, so were many ideas. Most of my designs come from somewhere in my personal life and carry some story. The whole point of sharing my designs and stories is because we as humans connect over our experiences. We all have our own life and our own story. We all can find something to connect with, such as a birds nest. I figured these could represent families, children, or even a lost loved one. Birds are a lot like humans. They nest, mate, and start families - just like us. What ever we decide starting a family looks like for each of us. I carry one around and remember Mark, Luna, and Judith.
